  Summary:
  
  Achieve sales targets, promote high standards of service to customer and run an efficient and well-organized store within the allotted budgets. To develop an effective sales team through coaching and continuously looking for ways to improve business. 
  
  Main Tasks:
  
  • Achieve maximum sales potential;
  • Consistently maintain a high standard of friendly and professional service to customers:
  • Employ high calibre sales and management staff and maintain adequate staffing levels;
  • Provide effective in-store coaching for high strike rate and sales value;
  • Correctly merchandise and display products;
  • Maintain a vigilant attitude towards store security;
  • Maintain a firm control of the staff cost;
  
  Specific Tasks:
  
  Staff:
  • Interview, select and employ the best sales oriented associates;
  • Ensure that at least two interviews are conducted for each new employee hired;
  • Plan rotations in order to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times;
  • Ensure that the staff is well presented and always pleasant to customers;
  • Regularly appraise the performance of the associates;
  • Plan and conduct regular, structured training/coaching sessions for all staff. Emphasis should be put on the following areas: Good customer service, sales skills, product knowledge and cash control procedures;
